Bethlehem community& cultural center

The concept of the project is to create a harmonious community environment, in which the communities surrounding the site (Bethlehem, Dheisheh refugee camp, the educational area) gather to perform various activities integrated with the cultural and social environment (a public theatre, an educational center for learning to acquire skills, an entertainment center, and an exhibition building and flexible halls different uses, adapted to the needs of the community) Physically, this idea was expressed by linking the areas to each other through a boulevard that connects the main streets to each other and around which the activities mentioned above are distributed,  where walkers feel the harmony and community diversity.

Through the use of organic architecture, the design aims to create a harmonious coexistence between the existing traditional stone and concrete buildings surrounding the site area and the new cultural center.
Organic architecture allows for the seamless integration of the cultural center into its surroundings while providing a different element that stimulates curiosity and engagement. including exhibition spaces, performance venues, classrooms, galleries, and public areas, The design focuses on sustainability by incorporating environmentally friendly design principles, A cultural center can reduce its environmental footprint and become a beacon of sustainable architecture in the community. The design incorporates elements that respond to the local climate, cultural heritage, and social context.
